On May 30, a celebration of the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month was held at Franklin Square. GPACC volunteers and board members taught children and their family how to make lotus flowers and introduced passersby to Shenyun Performing Arts, a classical Chinese dance and orchestral performance that highlights China’s five-millennia-old heritage. In addition, students from GPACC’s Minghui School received a very warm applause and high praise for their dance performance at the event and later received a gift from the organizing committee.
