The Greater Philadelphia Asian Culture Center, in partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association, is honored to welcome Shen Yun Performing Arts to Philadelphia for the start of its 2010 World Tour. This extraordinary Chinese music and dance performance group will grace the stage of the Academy of Music for two performances only: Saturday, January 2, 7:30 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2:00 p.m. Academy of Music is located at 240 South Broad Street, on Philadelphia’s famed Avenue of the Arts.

Since 2006, audiences throughout the Philadelphia and Delaware region have enjoyed Shen Yun Performing Arts’ dazzling Chinese New Year performances. Shen Yun brings classical Chinese music and dance to life in an exhilarating, highly acclaimed production. The two-hour, family-friendly show features moving performances inspired by Buddhist and Taoist legends and tales of modern day heroism. The enchanting vocal and instrumental musical selections and gorgeous dances from diverse regions of China have thrilled audiences in more than 60 cities across four continents.
